Fish in Water Films was born in 2014 as an idea to use our diverse audiovisual experience to create professional films in different formats, and bringing together: visual quality, assertive research, creativity anFish in Water Films was established in 2014 with the mission to apply diverse audiovisual expertise toward creating professional films across multiple formats, combining visual excellence, thorough research, imaginative approaches, and social responsibility.
We view filmmaking as more than storytelling for emotional connection — it serves as a mechanism to advance meaningful concepts and inspire action. Each production prioritizes messaging through carefully selected visual styles and formats, making every project distinctive in approach and execution.ng stories, but it is part of a process that can be used as a tool to impulse good ideas and call to the action.

Ruì Díaz
Extensive background directing and producing for major brands and international organizations — documentaries, web content, animations and image films. MA in Film from Barcelona Film School. Feature documentary Creative Despite War selected at international festivals.
Anna Nonnenmacher
Anthropologist from Free University of Berlin overseeing content analysis across all projects. Experience includes sustainability and waste management initiatives in developing regions.
Carlos Andrés López
Cinematographer trained at Film Academy Berlin. Work featured at Berlinale, Bildrausch Basel, and other prestigious festivals. Recent directorial work includes documentary Guillo.
Martín Vallejos Bossen
Trained in Chile, London, New York, and Germany. Films selected for international festivals. 2023 Drama Pitching Lab winner. Currently developing feature film The Odyssey.
J.I.M. Wels
Specializes in original series and character-driven narratives incorporating magical realism and Indigenous perspectives. Studies at Buchakademie Berlin.
